This policy explains what personal information Batt Homes Ltd collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it plain and we keep it honest — no jargon.
Who we are
Batt Homes Ltd is a property sourcing company operating across South Wales. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the "data controller" of the information you give us.

What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Details you give us through our forms — such as your name, email address, phone number, and information about your property investment goals, experience and budget.
- Information about how you use our website — such as pages visited and links clicked, collected through cookies and similar technology (including the Meta pixel described below).
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
We use your information to:
- Send you property deals and respond to your enquiry — this is based on your consent, which you give when you complete a form or join our deal list, and which you can withdraw at any time.
- Provide our sourcing service and stay in touch about deals and opportunities — where you become a client, this is based on performing our contract with you.
- Understand how our website and advertising perform, so we can improve them — based on our legitimate interests in running and growing the business.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you want to hear from us. If you ask to be removed, we will delete your details, other than anything we are legally required to keep (for example, records relating to a transaction we have completed for you).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the business, and your information may be handled by them on our behalf:
- Our form provider (Jotform) — collects and stores the details you submit through our forms.
- Our customer records system (CRM) — we store enquiry and client details in a CRM so we can manage our contact with you.
- Email and messaging — we contact you by email and, where you join it, through WhatsApp (provided by Meta).
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — we advertise on Meta's platforms and use their pixel to measure how our ads and website perform. This may involve Meta receiving information about your visit. See Meta's own privacy policy for how they use data.
- Our website host — serves the website to your device.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they are required to protect it to standards recognised under UK data protection law.
Cookies and the Meta pixel
Our website uses cookies and the Meta pixel to see how people find and use the site, and to measure our advertising. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them won't stop you using the site, though some parts may work less smoothly.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Withdraw your consent at any time — for the deal list, that's as simple as leaving the WhatsApp group or replying to ask to be removed.
- Object to us using your information for certain purposes.
To do any of these, just email nick@batthomes.co.uk and we'll sort it.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please get in touch and we'll do our best to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk.
